Size range: Maximum 2440 × 5000 mm; Minimum 300 × 300 mm.
Thickness range: 4–19 mm.
Core equipment: NorthGlass dual-chamber convection tempering furnace.
Standard: GB 15763.2-2005.
Mechanical strength: More than four times as strong as regular annealed glass (uniform load, thermal stress, most impact loads)
We employ the NorthGlass dual-chamber convection furnace for the manufacture of our semi-tempered glass. This allows the glass to achieve not only high strength but also consistent quality over many production batches - a very important aspect for clients located overseas who require a stable, long-term supply.
The product is made under the strict dietary regimes of GB 15763.2-2005 From raw preparation to quenching, every step is meticulously controlled to guarantee stability and repeatability. In comparison with regular annealed glass, semi-toughened glass features greatly increased mechanical strength and can resist everyday impact and thermal stress much better; additionally, it breaks into safer fragments.

Semi-toughened glass retains high clarity while having a strength level from medium to high. It can be utilized in a variety of architectural, residential, and industrial settings. Different thicknesses will serve different project requirements:
4–6 mm: Perfect for external walls and interior dividing walls. Ensures the inflow of natural light as well as safety. It can be used in large-scale commercial and residential projects.
7-10 mm: This type of glass is extensively utilized in furnishing—tops of tables, doors of the display cabinets, shelves, etc. Is strong enough for normal use and lessens the occurrence of breaking resulting from accidental hitting.
11–15 mm: This is the type of glass used for automatic doors of shopping malls, large display cases, and other areas with a high volume of people passing through. Provides excellent structural stability and long-life durability.
16–19 mm: Applications might include industrial observation windows, outdoor advertising light boxes, and other areas requiring high strength. Besides that, it has excellent resistance to vibrations and can withstand different weather conditions.
We are capable of fabricating non-standard sizes and technical data to suit different engineering and industry applications, thus giving procurement teams dependable, versatile solutions.

We are lucky to have in our half-tempered glass deep-processing department a professional and energetic team that has been in the glass deep-processing industry for many years. Our R&D, production, design, and after-sales core groups are the main representatives in our team.
The R&D team focuses on process optimization and product improvement.
The production team is responsible for high-quality and efficient output.
The design team cooperates with different departments to realize customer-requested projects.
After-sales staff are always there when customers need them answer promptly to customer inquiries.
To accommodate the needs of international shipping, we implement special packaging for our products. In it, along with other parts, cardboard reinforcements for the sides and wooden pallets are used to secure the package against impacts during short-distance transportation to the port and the long route to the destination. The packing method suits minimum order quantities and container transport.
One of our main pieces of processing machinery at Aolide Glass is the NorthGlass dual-chamber convection furnace. It determines the precision of both the heating and cooling stages in the whole cycle, which allows the piece of half-tempered glass to be of stable quality. We are capable of efficiently mass-producing and flexibly specifying, which means that we can be a reliable source for large overseas orders and long-term supply programs.
